Take Another Look

Overview: New Zealand Tertiary College design team collaboration. I was required to create the layout and overall look and feel. By incorporating circles, lines, and angled photos, I wanted to create a playful, friendly and, inviting presence and at the same time keep the text layout structured and clean, to avoid overwhelming the reader or taking away from the overall contexts of the book.

Take Another Look is about learning to observe children at play to see how they learn, grow, and develop. As well as introducing various methods of observation, it discusses stages of development, play, and adults as learners.

Originally written by Pat Penrose in 1993, this re-release by author Kelly Warren builds on the fundamental concepts of observing children at play to see how they learn and grow. Click here to purchase a copy of Take Another Look.
